I like the Merkava 4. Becouse it has the concept of both MBT and IFV. It can bring a squad of infantry with them. Cheapier and more affient.

WHAT!!!, i never heard of that before, how good are the Merkava anyway, i know they lost like 3 in the war with Lebanon/Hezbollah.
Personally it has to be like the T-80U, with the explosive reactive armor. I seen the sickest picture of one couple of years back when an T-80U with some sort of explosive reactive armor with like a black cammo. If i ever find it i will post it up.
Israel is very careful about their soldiers, they are placed in the middle of the tank and the engine is in the front. Therefore, can it take a squad of infantry soldiers. It has an escape hatch in the back. If its the best tank in the world? I do not know, but I like the concept of the Merkava. The combination of MBT and IFV. Must be cheapier than the devolopment of for an example, the M1A2 and the M2A4 Bradley.

Yeah its a good idea, but they did lose couple of them in Lebanon, i would probably guess that its a tier 2 tank if the Challenger and the Abrams are Tier 1.
yes, they did. However, every tank can be destroyed. I have heard things about Challenger II. It seems to be very good, during the battles in 2003 it survived several hits by RPG and one Milan ATM. In Sweden we are using Bill. Its an ATM which strike from above, and they are weak there. Javalin hits the target in the same way.
I will see if I can find the picture of when infantry soldiers leave their Merkava
